Who is Meew?
Meew is a Malaysia-based design studio founded by Ting Xuan Lim, specializing in modern, sculptural lamps. Every lamp is carefully designed to embody thoughtful aesthetics, craftsmanship, and timeless appeal.
Are Meew’s products original?
Yes. All lamps are designed, created, or curated in-house. Because many pieces are handcrafted or 3D-printed, slight variations in texture or finish are natural and contribute to each lamp’s unique character.
Orders & Payment
What payment methods does Meew accept?
We accept payments through:
- Stripe (credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and region-supported methods)
- PayPal
Both Stripe and PayPal are globally trusted providers known for secure, encrypted transactions.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Meew does not store your full payment details.
- Stripe processes all card transactions using advanced encryption and PCI-compliant standards.
- PayPal transactions are processed securely through PayPal’s own encrypted platform.
All sensitive information is kept strictly between you and the payment processor.
Why was my payment unsuccessful?
Payments may fail due to incorrect billing details, insufficient funds, bank restrictions, PayPal verification issues, or security filters.
Try another payment method or contact your bank/PayPal support for more information.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
If the lamp has not been shipped yet, we may be able to cancel it. Please contact support@meew.design as soon as possible.
Please note:
- Stripe and PayPal transaction fees and currency conversion fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds are issued only to the original payment method.
Shipping & Delivery
Does Meew ship internationally?
At this time, Meew lamps are only available for delivery within Malaysia and Singapore. Keeping our logistics local allows us to ensure every lamp is perfectly packaged and arrives safely. We provide complimentary shipping across Malaysia, and a flat delivery fee for our friends in Singapore. If you are outside these areas, we hope to bring a little light to your corner of the world in the future!
Why is my lamp shipment delayed?
Delays can happen due to courier workload, customs inspections, or local delivery conditions. While these are outside our control, we can help you check tracking updates when needed.
What should I double-check before placing my order?
Ensure your shipping address, contact number, and postal code are correct. Inaccurate details may lead to delivery delays or returned parcels.
Product Use, Maintenance & Care
Will my lamp look exactly like the product photos?
We photograph our lamps to be as accurate as possible. However, handcrafted and 3D-printed items may vary slightly in surface texture or finish. These natural variations are not considered defects.
How do I care for my lamp?
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the lamp. Avoid abrasive materials and chemical cleaners.
For electrical components, follow all usage and safety instructions carefully.

What electrical specifications do Meew lamps use?
- Lamp Base: E14 screw bulb base
- Plug: 2-pin European plug
- Cable: 2-core twisted fabric cable (2m or 3m available)
- Switch: Inline on/off button, approx. 70 cm from the lampholder
- Maximum Wattage: 60W
- Rated Voltage: 250V
Is this compatible with my country’s electrical system?
Our lamps are designed for 220–240V regions.
If your country uses 110–120V, you may need a suitable adapter or voltage converter to operate the lamp safely.
Can I request a different plug type?
Yes, if you require a different plug type for your region, feel free to contact us. We will review compatibility and do our best to accommodate your request.
Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Items
My lamp arrived damaged or incorrect - what should I do?
Email support@meew.design with:
- your order number,
- photos of the lamp and packaging,
- a brief description of the issue.
We will review the case and offer a suitable resolution such as a replacement or partial refund.
While we pack with extreme care, we highly recommend recording a quick video while opening your package, it acts as an "insurance policy" that helps us speed up any necessary replacements.
Are minor surface imperfections considered defects?
No. Slight texture variations, layer lines, or tonal differences typical of handcrafted or 3D-printed production are normal and not considered defects.
Returns & Refunds
Can I return a lamp?
Yes. Lamps may be returned if they are unused, in original condition, and include all packaging. Contact support@meew.design to start your return request.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a mistake on our end.
When will my refund be issued?
After inspecting your returned lamp, approved refunds are processed within 7 business days.

Design & Intellectual Property
Can I reproduce or commercially resell Meew lamps?
No. All designs, models, images, and branding belong exclusively to Meew. Unauthorized reproduction or resale is prohibited.
Can I send feedback or design ideas?
Yes! We welcome your ideas. By submitting them, you grant Meew the right to use the suggestions without obligation or compensation.
Website & Technical Issues
Why am I unable to complete checkout?
Issues can arise due to browser cache, ad blockers, outdated browsers, slow internet, or payment verification failures. Try refreshing, switching browsers, or disabling extensions.
Is my personal information secure?
Yes. We follow industry-standard data protection practices, and all payment processing is handled securely by Stripe and PayPal.
