MILLINER Matcha

MILLINER is the one lamp in the range that owes nothing to nature. It owes everything to fashion.

We named this piece after the artisan hat-makers of a bygone era. We wanted to capture the elegance of a wide-brimmed sun hat, that perfect, sweeping curve and re-imagine it using our digital knitting process.

The result is a table lamp that feels distinctly poised. The sweeping, conical shade is not a solid piece of plastic, but a continuous, digitally woven mesh. It sits atop a ribbed "cuff," a detail borrowed directly from garment construction, which transitions into the tripod base.

Like a well made hat, MILLINER is all about texture and silhouette. The thousands of tiny, precise loops in the shade filter the bulb's glare, casting a warm, diffused glow that feels just like sunlight filtering through a straw hat on a summer day. It is a piece of digital tailoring, designed to bring a soft, composed elegance to any surface.

Every lamp is printed specifically for you in our Kuala Lumpur studio. We don't keep stock.

Each lamp is 3D printed using high-quality PLA-based filaments:

• Premium PLA+ and Matte Bio-Filaments
• Sourced from eSun and Bambu Lab
• Derived from renewable resources such as corn starch and sugarcane
  

These materials were chosen for their balance of structural strength, lightweight form, and soft light diffusion, making them ideal for sculptural lighting.

2. Sustainability in Production:

Our lamps are made using additive manufacturing (layer-by-layer 3D printing).

This process is intentionally chosen because it:

• Avoids molds, mass production, and large factory minimums
  
• Produces only what is needed, no overstock or excess inventory
  
• Allows organic shapes that traditional fabrication would waste material on
  
• Supports small-batch, on-demand production rather than volume-driven output
  

Each piece is printed, hand-trimmed, assembled, and packed in Malaysia.
